What happens at the lab?
Once the soil samples arrive at the lab, each sample is fully homogenized to ensure a fully representative sub-sample. They extract all of the genomic DNA from that sub-sample, and that sample is sequenced for the presence and pressure of key organisms along with a standard nutrient analysis. They use publicly available genomes and their proprietary library for constant validation and accuracy.
